Angela Wittwer is an artist, editor and graphic designer. In her research-based and site-specific artistic practice she collaborates with other artists and researchers and works in sound, drawing and installation. In her recent work, she reflects on postcolonial entanglements and fluid subjectivities, co-creating semi-fictional personae that blend historical fact with fabulation. She has been involved in editing publications for Maria Eichhorn, Shedhalle Zurich, the Federal Office of Culture, Bernisches Historisches Museum and the Zurich University of the Arts. She is a founding member of the collective Das Wandbild muss weg! and is based between Jakarta and Zurich.
